KALYAN: GRP, probing a month-old suicide case of a 42-year-old man at Ambernath railway station, booked his wife and three sons for provoking him to commit suicide.

Investigators found that he felt insulted after being beaten up by his sons for demanding Rs 2,000 from his wife to buy clothes. His wife refused to give him the money as he was jobless. The man used to reside with his mother, wife and three sons at Ambernath (E).

GRP said on December 5 he ended his life by jumping before a train near Ambernath railway station. Police had initially filed a suicide case.
