Haryana: Wife, two accomplices sent to jail for murder of husband
The Ambala district police on Thursday arrested three accused in connection with the murder of Naseer Khan (50). The dead body of Naseer was found strangulated at his home in village Sirsgarh in Mullana of the district on Wednesday.

AMBALA: The Ambala district police on Thursday arrested three accused in connection with the murder of Naseer Khan (50). Naseer had been strangulated at his home at village Sirsgarh in Mullana in the district on Wednesday.
The accused have been identified as Shahjahan, wife of the deceased Naseer, Ramesh Kumar (59) of Barara, and Vinod Kumar (40) of Zaffarpur in Ambala.
On Wednesday, Naseer's brother Matloob Khan accused the wife of Naseer of murder and a case of murder was registered on his complaint.
On February 13, Mullana police registered a case under sections 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) and 302 (punishment for murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
Mullana SHO Ranjeet Singh told TOI, "Matloob has accused the wife of Naseer of murder, following which she was taken under custody on suspicion of murder. Initially, during our interrogation, she was misleading us, but on Thursday she revealed the names of Ramesh and Vinod who strangulated Naseer. We have arrested all the three accused and on Friday, they were presented before the court which has sent them to judicial custody. The accused have confessed to the crime in front of the court."
The cops revealed that from past sometime, Shahjahan (Naseer’s wife) was in touch with the accused Ramesh who often used to visit her home and Naseer did not like him visiting the home. Due to this, Naseer had heated arguments with his wife on several occasions.
SHO Singh added, "Shahjahan in connivance with Ramesh plotted to kill Naseer and on the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday, she called Ramesh at her home for murdering Naseer. Following which, Ramesh along with his accomplice Vinod strangulated him in the night."
Ramesh works as a construction contractor while Vinod is a labourer who used to work with him.
