Bathinda: Mansa police have arrested a woman and her paramour on the charges of killing her husband and showing it as a case of suicide.
The police claimed that Sarabjit Kaur of village Phool, who was married to Balwinder Singh of village Dalel Singh Wala in Mansa, taking along her paramour Lakhwinder Singh of village Pharmahi killed Balwinder by strangulation on Monday night. they then hung his body from the ceiling fan to show it as a case of suicide.

Mansa DSP Simranjit Singh on Tuesday said that the Sarabjit on Tuesday morning approached the police saying her husband has committed suicide by hanging himself to ceiling fan at his home. The police suspected her behaviour and body language.

When investigated it was found that she was in relations with driver Lakhwinder and both killed Balwinder. A case of murder has been registered against the duo.
