Nazeerabad police have nabbed a 36-year-old married woman for stabbing her 40-year-old husband to death at Chandrapura village late in the night on Tuesday.
The police said that the deceased Sonaskh Singh was found in a pool of blood by neighbours while his wife Bhuli Bai was found missing from the house. One of his neighbours spotted Bhuli Bai escaping her late in the night from the house and when she was nabbed she confessed killing her husband.
The couple has one son and daughter from the marriage.
Before killing her husband, she had consumed liquor with him and had quarrels, which soon violent when she attacked him with a sharp edged weapon. The accused confessed that her husband used to have frequent fights with her on petty issues.
She escaped along with her daughter from the spot and was hiding at her parents’ house in Kadhaiya Shah and nabbed late in the night. The neighbor spotted Bhulibai escaping with her daughter while Sonaksh was lying in pool of blood.
In the initial investigation fight between husband and wife emerged as reason of the murder. The fight used to occur as Bhuli Bai would speak over mobile phone for long. The reason could not be ascertained at the moment and would be investigated.
The deceased was stabbed several times in different parts of the body and profuse bleeding led to his death.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 302 of the IPC and started further investigation.
