Woman, lover sentenced to life for husband’s murder in Bokaro
A local court here on Friday awarded life imprisonment to a woman and her alleged lover for killing her husband, about seven years ago.

BOKARO: A local court here on Friday awarded life imprisonment to a woman and her alleged lover for killing her husband, about seven years ago.
Additional district and sessions judge of Bokaro court, Ranjit Kumar, held Usha Devi and Vijay Manjhi guilty of the crime and awarded them life imprisonment under Section 302 of the IPC and a fine of Rs 20,000 each. The fine amount will be given to the father of the deceased.
Additional public prosecutor Rakesh Kumar Rai said Usha married Doman Manjhi of Santhallaga of Chandankyari in 2007 and the couple had a son.
During Durga Puja in 2011, Usha called Doman to Balidih and murdered him with the help of Vijay Manjhi. They later hanged Doman from a tree at Bansimili under Balidih police station.
